“Message in a Bottle” is a story of the artistic process. From the crumpled mistakes that pile up, overflowing in the wastepaper basket, forming new ideas, becoming something unique and completely new.

This is the third and final illustration in the story featuring a little mouse who finds the scrunched up paper balls falling into this bottle where he picks them up, alters them and sends them back into the world as something new in the form of his paper birds.

This original piece measures 29.7 x 42.0 cm and is created using a combination of archival ink and pencil and is signed by the artist.
