“Home Sweet Home” is a set of drawings based on abandoned houses found in Ireland. Where nature has reclaimed some of the building and the objects inside often tell stories of the people who once lived within the walls.

The illustrations were inspired by my own findings while photographing old houses that have been reclaimed by the surrounding flora and fauna of the landscape.

This first piece features a deer, the calendar left on the last month it had been changed, rosary beads hanging, an old kettle hanging over a fire and rusty glasses perched on an old chair.

This original piece measures 29.7 x 42.0 cm and is created using a combination of archival ink and pencil and is signed by the artist.

Shipped flat using recycled materials and all materials come from sustainable sources.
